Our Vision

A world where everyone has adequate safe water, sanitation and hygiene on a substained basis, and where no one dies from preventable diseases.

Our Mission

To transform the lives in marginalized communities by providing WASH services, combating neglected tropical diseases, and enhancing resilience through humanitarian responses and sustainable livelihood initiatives. We achieve this by partnering with donors, local authorities, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders to deliver essential services and build capacities for long-term impact.

Our Core Values

Transparency

As a charity, we ensure that our operations are visible and verifiable. In our dealings with staff, partners, and the users of our services, we are clear and ensure that nothing is hidden from them.

Respect

We treat everyone with dignity, respect and champion the rights and contributions of all to achieve a fairer world.

Intergrity

We act with honesty and conviction and our actions are consistent with openness, equality and human rights.

Accountability

We are accountable to those whose lives we hope to see transformed, to those we work with and to those who support us.

Testimonials

Here is what our beneficiaries say about us.

Regina Odoi Beneficiary

I am Regina Odoi, a nurse and SWE educator in Larbikrom, and I am deeply grateful for the Safe Water Education (SWE) initiative by GrowthAid Ghana. Before SWE, waterborne diseases, especially diarrhea among children, were a major concern in our community. Thanks to SWE’s education on water safety and hygiene, we have seen a remarkable decline in these cases, improving overall public health. Our community is now safer and healthier, and we truly appreciate GrowthAid Ghana and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their support.

Ransford Osei Beneficiary

My name is Ransford Osei from Akyem Pameng. I recently learned about safe water through an announcement and a visit from Raphael of GrowthAid. He tested our drinking water and confirmed it was unsafe. Thankfully, he provided a Veronica bucket and purification tablets to treat it. Since then, we have been purifying our water, greatly improving our health. I encourage all Safe Water Educators to continue their good work, and I appreciate those supporting this initiative. Your efforts are truly making a difference. God bless you.

Anim Alex Beneficiary

My name is Anim Alex, Secretary of the Facility Management Team in Kwabeng Zongo. Before the new water system, we had to travel long distances just to fetch water, which was exhausting. Thanks to GrowthAid, those struggles are over. I now have clean water directly in my compound for cooking, bathing, and other needs—a convenience I never imagined. About 34 other households have also connected, while public pipe stands ensure no one is left out. We deeply appreciate this life-changing support from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. God bless you."

Augustina Beneficiary

I am Madam Augustina; I live right here in Kwabeng Zongo, and I am a public water vendor. Life used to be very difficult for us due to the lack of basic water access in our community. However, since GrowthAid and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provided us with a water system, everything has changed for the better. Now, everyone in the community is happy because we can fetch water at any time. I can even stay here until 11:00 PM, and those who close late from work can still come and get water. We now have water to cook, drink, wash, and meet all our daily needs. We are deeply grateful to GrowthAid and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for coming to our aid. God bless you.

Nana Eric Sovi Beneficiary

My name is Nana Eric Sovi from Kwabeng Zongo. We used to fetch and sieve river water or walk far for borehole water, which was a struggle, especially for my work as a herbalist. Thanks to GrowthAid, I now have safe water at home, making life much easier. I am deeply grateful to GrowthAid and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their support. God bless them.
