Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the WASH team and other departments within the GrowthAid Organisation. This role involves managing office tasks, coordinating activities, and ensuring effective communication and documentation to support the organization's mission of improving water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions. Key Responsibilities: Office Administration: Manage office supplies and inventory, handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and paper based, Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations. Event and Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events related to WASH projects, prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items, Organize travel arrangements for staff and visitors. Support to WASH Programs: Assist with the preparation and monitoring of project documentation and reports, Support data collection and analysis related to WASH activities, Help organize field visits and community outreach activities. Financial and Budgetary Support: Assist with the preparation of financial reports and budgets, Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents, Maintain records of financial transactions and support auditing processes. Communication and Liaison: Facilitate communication between the WASH team and external stakeholders, partners, and community members, assist in drafting correspondence and reports for internal and external use, Maintain up-to-date contact lists and databases. Project Support: Provide logistical support for project implementation, Help track project progress and deadlines, assist with the preparation of data required for project proposals and funding applications where need arises. General Support: Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor, Support the onboarding and orientation of new staff and volunteers, Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications: Education:  Diploma or equivalent in business administration, Social work, development Studies or any other related field. Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferable in the NGO world is required. Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with WASH issues and basic understanding of project management is a plus.

Job Summary: The WASH Officer is responsible for overseeing and implementing WASH interventions in the field. This role includes managing WASH activities, supporting community engagement, and ensuring that projects meet their objectives effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Implementation: Lead and manage the implementation of WASH activities as per the project plan. Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of WASH services and interventions. Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of WASH infrastructure such as water supply systems, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion tools.
  2. Community Engagement: Engage with community members to assess their WASH needs and involve them in the planning and implementation of activities. Conduct community mobilization and awareness campaigns to promote hygiene practices and ensure the sustainable use of WASH facilities. Facilitate the formation and training of community-based WASH committees or groups.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the progress of WASH activities against project targets and indicators. Conduct regular field visits to assess the effectiveness of interventions and gather feedback from beneficiaries. Prepare and submit detailed reports on project activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  4. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to field staff, contractors, and community members on WASH-related issues. Ensure the application of appropriate technologies and methodologies in WASH interventions. Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies for new WASH projects or improvements to existing ones.
  5. Capacity Building: Train and mentor local staff, volunteers, and community members on WASH practices and techniques. Develop and deliver training materials and workshops on topics such as sanitation, water quality, and hygiene promotion.
  6. Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with other NGOs, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure integrated and effective WASH service delivery. Participate in relevant coordination meetings, working groups, and clusters to represent the organization’s interests.
  7. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively. Support procurement processes and inventory management in line with organizational policies.
  8. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all WASH activities comply with organizational standards, donor requirements, and relevant regulations. Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of service delivery and project outcomes.
  9. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to WASH activities and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project implementation.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science Social word , Public Health, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of Two [2] years of experience in WASH programming or related areas, preferably in an NGO setting. Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of WASH systems, including water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary: The M&E Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the monitoring and evaluation systems for WASH and health programs. This role ensures that the programs are effective, meet their goals, and produce measurable impacts. The M&E Officer will collect, analyse, and interpret data to support decision-making and improve program outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
  1. M&E System Development: Design and implement robust M&E frameworks and systems for WASH and health programs. Develop performance indicators, data collection tools, and methodologies tailored to program needs and objectives.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness. Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to assess program performance and impact.
Manage data entry, storage, and reporting systems to maintain data integrity and security.
  1. Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on program progress, performance, and outcomes. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to program managers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements and internal M&E standards.

  4. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated M&E efforts. Participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on M&E trends and practices.
  5. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all M&E activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with organizational and donor policies. Address any concerns related to data quality, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field. Postgraduate in M&E is a must
  • Experience: Proven experience of Five (5) years in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in WASH and health sectors having worked on USAID projects will an added advantage.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, Excel) and database management.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Job Summary: The Project Manager will oversee and manage WASH projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the objectives and deliverables.
